James Greenwell
James Greenwell has been president and CEO of Datria Systems since 2000 and was elected chairman in 2002. He brings over 20 years of high-tech executive experience in the areas of software and hardware services startups.
Prior to joining Datria, James was an executive with DecisionOne, an independent multi-vendor hardware repair firm, for over eight years. During this time, the corporation grew revenue from $90 million to over $800 million, from 900 employees to over 7,000 and a successful, oversubscribed IPO that raised in excess of $100 million. James has also worked for several other private and public technology companies in product management, marketing, and sales. He is currently a board member of Friends of Denver Fire and is a past chairman of the American Heart Association's Denver, Colorado, board of directors.
James earned an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and an MBA from St. Mary's College of Moraga, California.
Don Rosenkrans
Don Rosenkrans is the manager of Greenwood Gulch Ventures, a private
venture capital company formed in 1997 to invest and work with
information technology companies in the late development stage.
Rosenkrans has experience in evaluating investment opportunities,
due diligence investigations, participating in negotiations, and
document preparation. He also provides active guidance to and ongoing
monitoring of the approximately half-dozen companies in which Greenwood
Gulch has invested. Rosenkrans holds a bachelor’s of science degree in
business from the University of Colorado.
Mark Soane
Mr. Soane is a Managing Director of Appian Venture
Partners (www.appianvc.com),
an early-stage technology fund based in Denver. Soane has
served on the boards of Voyant Technologies, Datria Systems,
Pixxures Inc., Ischemia Technologies, Controlled Products, Pixxures
and Active Education. He has also held executive level
marketing and operations positions at several venture-backed
companies, including Personics Corporation, TRADE Inc. and Multum
Information Services. Soane is currently Chairman of the
Colorado Venture Capital Association and Vice Chairman of the
Colorado Fourteeners Initiative. He holds a bachelor's degree
in History from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford Business
School.
Ted Ardell
Ted has extensive experience in systems and service businesses.
Ted was President and Chief Executive Officer of Impell Corporation,
where he led the company's growth to a public company with revenue of
$100 million. Previously, Ted worked for the Bechtel Corporation and
served as a nuclear submarine officer in the US Navy. Ted graduated
with distinction from the United States Naval Academy and is a
Registered Engineer.
